PREFERENCE

Preference menunjukkan sikap lebih suka terhadap sesuatu daripada yang lain.
Pola :
1.    Subyek - prefer to - Verb 1 - rather than - Verb 1.
2.    Subyek - prefer - Noun - to - Noun.
3.    Subyek - would rather - Verb 1 - than - Noun.
4.    Subyek - like - Noun/Gerunds - better than - Noun/gerunds.
Contoh kalimatnya :
1.He prefers to write his letters rather than dictate them.
   (Dia lebih suka menulis suratnya daripada mendiktekannya)
2.I prefer fishing to cycling.
   (Saya lebih suka memancing daripada bersepeda)
3.She'd rather have the small one than the large one.
   (Dia lebih suka mengambil yang kecil daripada yang besar)
4.I like this one better (more) than that one.
   (Saya lebih suka yang ini daripada yang itu).
